Michael and ElizaBeth Black own Black Studios, a full-service photography studio in Rutland South Dakota, just 45 minutes north of Sioux Falls. Graduating students come from Madison, Howard, Chester, Colman, Flandreau, Brookings, Watertown, Sioux Falls and the surrounding area for their senior pictures. Black Studios puts on a reception slideshow at each and every they photograph as a gift to the bride and groom, sharing the images with friends and family that may not otherwise get to see the wedding pictures. The Black Studios Birthday Club offers a free session and a refrigerator magnet to children close to the time of their birthday. The Baby Plan give parents of newborns the opportunity to have picture sessions at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months and have those images put on a 16x20 frame print. Mike is the current president of the South Dakota Professional Photographers Assocation and is also a member of the Professional Photographers of America.
