Preston is a busy guy. He played football and basketball for the Raiders while his summers have been spent as a lifeguard.
Preston picked out his pictures tonight with help from Mom and Macy. Check out his favorites below.

Ky was one of our latest seniors to get his pictures done. It’s still not too late to book your senior portrait session, but don’t wait too long: those YB deadlines are coming up faster than you realize.
Here are a few of Ky’s favorites.

Dacey and I met Carly at Trojan Field a couple of weeks ago for some unusual senior pictures. Carly rules the 100 meter dash, winning the State B title the last 5 years. Here is Dacey’s best shot of the session. Very cool!
More to come later…

Carly has the look of a girl that you’d find on the beach in California rather than in the corn fields of South Dakota. Here are a few of her favorites from her senior portrait session. Check out all of the trophies: Carly is the 5 time State B Champ in the 100 meter dash.

Graduation is quickly approaching for Alex and his classmate from Rutland High School.

Blake lives large. Put a football helmet on his head or a basketball in his hands and Blake’s belief in his abilities grows.

Alex is always easy going. He never gets mad. He’s not full of himself. He’s unstoppable when he’s driving to the basket. Maybe he needs a little more attitude before basketball season starts…
Here are a few of our favorites of Alex.

Here are a few from RHS senior Christina in a senior video slideshow.
Here are ALex’s favorites in a senior video slideshow…and yes, he can play ball.
Jaynie worked for us this summer. We don’t see her smiling face every day now, but we still seem to catch her at school activities every week. Here’s a few of her favorites from her Adventure Session.

Rutland’s Class of 2010 graduated on Saturday. We gotten to know all of the kids over the years. Some we’ve know almost all of their lives. The gym was FULL at 2 in the afternoon. It was too wet for fieldwork with warm temps, hazy overcast and for once at graduation NO WIND! With all of the small schools in the area having commencement ceremonies on the same day, the Madison Daily Leader, asked if I would take a few pictures.
Megan Powell wrote a song for her senior project. Amber Misar performed it for the graduates before they received their diplomas. Here is a video that we put together with the images from yesterday accompanied by Amber Misar singing Megan’s song. Bill Shoup played the various instruments in the song.
Please send in your announcement card flyer with any changes you may have so we can get your cards printed.
Graduation is coming up fast.
Shelby came after school for her senior pictures along with two of her friends to help haul in all of her outfits.
We’ve known Mitch a very long time. As a senior in Rutland, Mitch literally stands head and shoulders above everyone else.
We went to Mitch’s farm for the first part of his session and then finished up with a few more in the studio.
Mitch has a distinctive style all his own. In other words, he doesn’t conform to the status quo.
We went to Rob’s farm for the first part of his senior session.
The weather was a little uncertain that day: we had calm and brisk winds, clouds and sunshine, changing every few minutes.
Rob’s girlfriend Kendra, a Black Studios senior from last year, got in on a few.
Mom really wanted Rob to have one in a suit. While casual dress seems to be the trend in senior pictures lately, we still like doing the more traditional look of a suit of formal dress.
What can we say about Hailey? This Rutland High School senior pushes hard at her studies. Hailey has been great help to us in the studio. And she loves shoes!
