You’ll find all of Mike and Lori’s family on the road going to and from some sort of sports event. It might be a triathlon, a half-marathon, swimming, wrestling, football or track. I get tired just thinking of all of that dedication.

Another Christmas Card that we can now show you. Terry and Christie, Jordan and Lexi come every year for their Christmas portrait session.

We had a beautiful Fall for taking pictures outside. Stephanie brought her kids in for fun family session. Check out the Christmas Card that ElizaBeth designed.

The Hojer boys sure have gotten bigger.
Change happens too quickly in our lives and before we realize it, the kids have grown a bunch. Don’t wait to long to have your family portrait taken.

Terry and Christie brought out Jordan and Lexi for their annual Christmas portrait earlier this month. Amazingly Terry and Christie have not aged at all even as their kids get older.

We had an awesome time with the Gilbert family last month. It was great seeing my college friend Kim again. Time seems to be flying by.
If all of your family will be around for the holidays, give us a call at 586.4143 and schedule an appointment. We can handle large groups in our studio of 20 to 30+.

To schedule your family session, call ElizaBeth at the studio 586-4143

Check out some of Keri’s family’s pictures from earlier this Fall.

We do all kinds of photography but we like to think that we do the best with the little ones. While I am behind the camera, ElizaBeth is entertaining, running back and forth and getting smiles. Now Kynley was a bit too small to smile for her newborn session but that didn’t stop ElizaBeth for working her magic.

Here’s one of Mom and Dad from their maternity session.

We’ve been busy with family pictures for Christmas. The madness is starting to slow down. We do have a few sessions available yet, but don’t wait to call.

Greg (Klooter), son Garrett and maybe Lynda too LOVE the Green Bay Packers. Here are a few images from their recent family session.

And for a little fun we will turn back the clock a little over three years and see how much Garrett has grown up.

Terry, Christie, Jordan and Lexi came for family pictures last night. Now I can’t show you this year’s card just yet: I don’t want to be a spoiler, but we can show you last year’s version.

We don’t just do Christmas cards this time of year. We create composite wall portraits as well. Here is one of two that we did for the Engbrecht family.

Mike and Lori brought their family out to the studio. It was a nice enough day that we ended up doing the entire session outside. Here are a few of their favorite images.
We do have two spots open on this Saturday for family pictures. Call ElizaBeth at the studio if you are interested – 586-4143.

I’ve known Debi literally all of my life. She was always hanging out at our farm place with my mother and the horses when I was growing up. Here are a few from their family session several weeks ago.

It just seems like yesterday that we photographed Kazzie’s wedding and now look at her family. How many of you remember her from her basketball days playing for Dakota State?
Yes you still have time for family pictures before Christmas, but don’t put off calling for your session too much longer.

It has been a great Fall for outside pictures. Check out these pictures of the Hanson family.
We still have sessions available for Christmas family pictures. Call ElizaBeth at the studio: 586-4143. You get to pick out the images right away on our big screen.

Garrett and his parents were at the studio Saturday morning for their family Christmas portrait session with a decidely yellow and green theme. Check out this sneak peak of Garrett all ready to cheer on his favorite team.

It’s wild to see the changes a few short years make. Here’s a sneak peak from the Engbrecht’s family session.

Jason and family came to see us a couple of weeks ago for pictures in Rutland. We had another beautiful day for outside pictures.
We still have sessions available for pictures in time for Christmas. Right now the studio is full of activity as we finish up orders and design albums.

Lynda, Greg and Garrett came to the studio this morning for family pictures. Lynda wanted a new facebook profile picture and we were glad to help.
Which one do you like better: left or right?

We had fun tonight with the Rasmussen family from Elkton.
We have sessions still available over the next few weeks. Give ElizaBeth a call at the studio for an appointment: 586-4143

Pete and his family came to Rutland on one of the windiest days of October. We found enough shelter to capture some great images before moving into the studio. Here are a couple of images from their family session.
The new computers are all configured and we are quickly catching up on all of our orders. We love the speed. We will be posting more on the blog over the next two weeks. We do have a some evening sessions available before Thanksgiving. Call ElizaBeth at the studio for info: 586-4143.

Mom and Dad came with Eastlyn for her 3 month session a while back. Here are a few images from her portrait session at Black Studios. We even did a couple of family pictures at the same time.

Here are images from Coy’s one year session as part of his Baby Plan.

ElizaBeth told me a couple of days ago that all of the posts recently did not show the work we had been doing. We do more than sports and senior boys. We’ve been going full throttle lately so many projects haven’t made it on the blog in the past few months. We will start catching up and I post more in between working on wedding albums and sports teams. Here’s Avery’s Baby Plan Panel.

The smell of silage brings back memories of growing up on the farm. These days things go much faster than we did when I was a kid. We had an old Gehl cutter and Dakon wagons. It took a while to unload the wagon and fill the silo. It was way dangerous back then with all of the belts and augers. Many of my grandfather’s friends had hooks where a hand should of been.

All the kids know her as Mrs. Gonyo. I know her as Dana, my cousin Gary’s wife. Dana brought her family to the studio a while back for an indoor/outdoor portrait session. Here are a few of their favorites.
